Hello, I am Hyun.

I am a Ph.D candidate in Organizational Behavior at Olin Business School, Washington University in St.Louis. 

My biggest interest is in promoting collective well-being through understanding how we can reduce negative behaviors towards others while fostering positive behaviors towards others.

As a means to achieve this, power fascinates me, given its immense potential to influence not only individual outcomes but also the greater good for others. 

However,  power is not always positive. While it can enable extraordinary generosity and impact, it is usually stigmatized for its ability to corrupt its holders.

My research explores this duality – how power shapes interpersonal behavior, and how we can mitigate its negative effects while fostering its potential to promote "greater good" in the workplace.
